Urban List

After 10 years, we welcome a fresh face for Urban List—a space dedicated to seeking and sharing the good life, in good company.

Project

To mark the 10th anniversary for Urban List, we re-strategised and re-positioned the brand, shifting from ‘Living Your Best Life’ to ‘Welcome To The Good Life’. An evolution, not a revolution, that will see Urban List showing up a little differently—a nuanced and important shift designed to slow down, support local, sourcing goods created closer to home.

In collaboration with Creative Agency, Ground Crew, I was involved in all aspects of a full rebrand and new creative direction. We explore a new more relevant font choice, deconstructed brand symbol and imagery.

Scope

Art Direction, Social Media Design, Imagery Direction, Motion Graphics, Typography, Print + Textile Design.

All editorial and social templates were created inline with our new deconstructed ‘tilted colon’, taking the squares from the colon within the Urban List logo and playing with form and scale and motion.

Below, Instagram carousels for both branded and organic content were created exploring the same tilted square as well as the traditional form of the ‘colon’.

UGC features heavily in organic content as a way to involve our community pillar and our imagery and design direction reflects this.
